Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

1. Information we collect

The Modu website primarily presents project information, installation instructions, and links to the open-source repository. We do not require an account and do not currently collect identifying information through forms on this site.

2. Automatically generated access data

When you visit, hosting, content-delivery, browser, or security services may process necessary technical information such as IP address, access time, browser and device type, requested path, and error logs. This information supports delivery, security, and basic operations.

3. Cookies and local storage

The site source does not include advertising-tracking cookies. It uses local storage to remember your theme preference. If a third-party hosting or security service sets a cookie, that provider’s policy applies.

4. Third-party links

This site links to GitHub and other third-party websites. Their privacy policies and terms apply independently when you visit them.

5. Third-party processing and disclosure

To operate this site and maintain the project, technical data may be processed by:

  • Cloudflare Pages, CDN, and security services for hosting, delivery, protection, logs, and troubleshooting.
  • GitHub for code hosting, project collaboration, and releases. Information you submit on GitHub is handled under GitHub’s policies.
  • Email providers when you contact support, including your address, message content, timestamp, and necessary delivery metadata.
  • DNS and infrastructure providers for domain resolution, availability, and network troubleshooting.

We do not sell personal information or use access data to build advertising profiles.

6. How information is used

We use access data only as needed for site operation, security, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and project maintenance. If you contact us through GitHub or another channel, we use the information you provide to handle that request.

7. Your data rights

Where applicable law provides, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restrictions on the processing of personal data related to you. Because this site has no account system, data held directly by us is normally limited to support information you choose to submit.

Send a request to dev@crosszan.com, describe the relevant data, and do not include passwords, API keys, access tokens, or other sensitive data.

8. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect data related to this site. Internet transmission and third-party platforms cannot be guaranteed completely secure, so avoid submitting sensitive information through public channels.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the site, hosting, or project changes. The current version will be published here with its update date.

10. Contact

For privacy, data-rights, or support questions, contact the maintainers at dev@crosszan.com. Do not send passwords, API keys, access tokens, or other sensitive data by email.
