OpenModu
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using the Modu website, documentation, example code, or related open-source project, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using those resources.
2. What Modu provides
Modu provides open-source tools, a project website, documentation, and examples for building agent applications. We may adjust, update, or discontinue parts of these resources as the project evolves.
3. Open-source license
Code in the Modu repository is governed by the license stated in that repository. Unless expressly stated otherwise, site content does not grant the right to use the Modu name, logo, or brand assets for endorsement, promotion, or commercial authorization.
4. Fees and refunds
Modu is currently a free, open-source toolkit and project website. This site does not charge subscriptions, licenses, or service fees and does not process payments, so a refund policy does not currently apply. Any future paid feature, hosted service, or commercial support plan will publish its price, billing terms, cancellation process, and applicable refund rules before charging.
5. Acceptable use and enforcement
You must use this site and its resources lawfully and reasonably. You may not attack, abuse, or disrupt the site, or use project resources for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
If you violate these terms or applicable law, we may take proportionate action, including restricting access, reporting abuse to a hosting platform, pausing support, or pursuing remedies available under law.
6. Third-party services
This site may link to GitHub, model providers, hosting platforms, or other third parties. Those services are independently operated, and Modu does not control their content, availability, or rules.
7. Disclaimer
Modu is provided as is. We do not promise that the site or project resources will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for evaluating their use in production, commercial, or high-risk settings.
8. Updates
We may update these terms. The current version will be published on this page with its effective update date.
9. Contact
For questions about these terms, pricing, or use, contact the maintainers at dev@crosszan.com. Do not send passwords, API keys, access tokens, or other sensitive data by email.
